President John Dramani Mahama chose to ignore the General Secretary of the Convention People's Party ( CPP), Mr Ivor Greenstreet over the vitriolic attack he launched against him and his government at the NDC congress.
Delivering a solidarity message on behalf of his party, Mr Greenstreet devoted his 10 minute speech to launch a barrage of attacks on the government saying it had only brought untold hardships to the people.
So biting was the CPP man's delivery that Mr Fritz Baffour who was the MC for the day described it as the most weird solidarity message he had ever heard.
And when President Mahama addressed the gathering, he took note of the attack but said he was retraining himself to react to it,
He said, "Government is a continuum and I am therefore not the one to play the blame game."
Party partisanship the president said, was the bane of the country, and the quest to win power push people to wear politically-covered lenses that made them have difficulty in seeing what the reality was.
