National Nassara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal-Deen Abdulai, has expressed disappointment in a publication quoting him as having accused his sanctioned National Chairman, Paul Afoko of pointing a gun on him.
According to him, they may have disagreed on issues bothering the NPP but not to the extent that Paul Afoko brandished a gun on him in anger as has been circulated in the media.
Speaking on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Kamal-Deen Abdulai insisted the media misquoted.
“Nothing of that nature happened anywhere that someone or the suspended National Chairman pulled a gun at me; no, it is not that. I remember saying on Peace Fm that I was shown a gun and not that a gun was pointed at me,” he emphasized.
He further explained that “it was not in anger that the suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko showed me his gun but in a good-humored manner in his office that he showed me his gun.”
“….he pulled his drawer and showed me his gun; the truth is that jovially I told him I am not afraid of a gun and I left his office. Let’s be very clear that he didn’t show me his gun in anger but in a friendly manner,” he pontificated.
