Flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP,) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, together with his Vice Presidential candidate, Ms. Brigette Dzogbenuku, have received a rousing welcome from the people of Manso in the Mpohor constituency in the Western region.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd gathered there, Dr. Nduom charged the people not to waste their vote in the upcoming December 7th elections by voting for the wrong person. He said voting for the wrong person will bring dire consequences in their lives.
He said that unlike football where one can go about regular life soon after after losing a match, a vote will have positive or negative effects which will last for four years.
“If you vote badly, it will affect you for four years - it will lead to poverty, disease and unemployment.”
So “Vote for jobs, potable water, good roads, stable electricity supply, access to good health care among others,” Dr. Nduom noted
The business mogul added that “if you vote for someone who does not give you what they promised, you have wasted your vote.”
…President Mahama went to the Flagstaff Houseg staff house and has brought dumsor, disease, poverty and unemployment despite his numerous promises.”
He charged the people to look around and see if the current Member of Parliament (MP,) Alex Agyekum, has helped to bring any development to the area.
In view of this, he urged the people to vote for J. B. Aubyn as a replacement for Hon. Agyekum and help him [Mr. Aubyn] to win the seat and “see what he will do for the constituency.”
Dr. Nduom charcterized President Mahama and Nana Akuffo Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) people running around making empty promises.
“Mahama said he will create 1 million jobs when he wins the elections… those are vague promises. Nana Addo says he will send a factory each to each town. I wonder why he [Nana Addo] waited till now… the answer is simple… he can’t do it,” Dr. Nduom stated..
He said that if the people wanted jobs, there is only one person who is recognized across the country as a creator of jobs and that is him [Dr. Nduom].
“I will never say Rawlings, Kufuor or Mahama have not done anything however despite all their ‘works’, malaria, poverty, bad roads and unemployment still lingers.
Dr. Nduom told the teaming crowd that Ms. Dzobgenuku has vast experience in rural enterprises and its development and that is something worth considering.
The Chief for the area appealed for assistance for the completion of the community centre and that roads in the town are very bad.
“Any time it rains heavily, we are unable to access Kojokom till after three months.”
The traditional leader also appealed to for an ambulance for a small a clinic in the area as nurses turn patients with extreme cases away.
Dr. Nduom in his response to their appeal, pledged to support them. He asked them to vote for him and Mr. Aubyn.

A VOTE FOR THE NDC IS A WASTED VOTE. THEY LACK VISION AND THEREFORE CANNOT PLAN.AS A RESULT OF LACK OF VISION AND PLANNING, THEY ADOPT FIRE SERVICE APPROACH TO EVERY ACTION OF THEIRS.IT IS LAWFUL TO PROCURE SERVICES THROUGN SOLE SOURCING BUT ANY PERSON WITH BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN MANAGEMENT WILL TELL YOU IT IS A SIGN OF INEFFICIENCY TO PROCURE UP TO 10% OF YOUR GOODS AND SERVICES THROUGH SOLE SOURCING.SO IF THE NDC CAN PROCURE CLOSE TO 80% OF ITS GOODS AND SERVICES YOU CAN APPRECIATE WHY THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. BECAUSE THEY ARE VISIONLESS AND SO CANNOT PLAN AHEAD ANYTHING THEY HAVE TO PROCURE HAS TO BE PROCURED UNDER EMERGENCY CONDITIONS.THROUGH THIS PROCCESS THEY CONVENIENTLY INFLATE THE COSTS TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE STATE. THAT IS WHY THEY ARE ABLE TO PAY TEN TIMES KUFUOR PAID FOR THE SAME SCHOOL BLOCK
If everything the opposition say's is fever then we don't want them
Right person for the job!
