We rejoiced as a unit when we learnt that the Regional Chairman and Joseph Yamin have been excluded from the Ashanti Regional campaign team.
We find this news as refreshing and a right step by the party. The NDC has suffered so much under the leadership of this Regional Chairman and we back the claims of Yamoah Ponkoh that, 'the party is struggling in the region'.
All we have witnessed under the leadership of the Regional Chairman is one conflict or the other. The party is indeed suffering under the hands of his incompetent leadership.
We think it's prudent that the Regional Chairman was exempted from the regional campaign team; because he adds nothing to the party.
It's sad the party has been struck with a major setback considering how well we performed in the 2012 election.
Whiles the NPP's Regional Chairman and his team are working tirelessly to improve their votes in the region, our regional chairman and team are fighting among themselves over contracts and supremacy. They have just sat uncncerned and the party is struggling!
We hope that his exemption from the campaign team is a beginning of good things to come our party's way in the region.
For Joseph Yamin, his utterances on radio and general conduct are affecting the party adversely; a lot of sympathizers of the party have left the party because of him and it's a right step to sideline him.
Going forward, the party will require people who will make good speeches on radio to attract voters.
We must admit that much harm has been caused by the actions, greed, fight for contracts and supremacy by the regional executives and as such it will be difficult to meet the one million vote target as a party.
For the new campaign team, we only ask of you to work hard to bring back all who have left because of the actions or inaction of these persons.
We again ask you that, if even you can't achieve the one million vote target, let's work to maintain the votes and parliamentary seats we won in the 2012 elections, because as it stands now, we are loosing massively in the region.
You must admit as a campaign team that, our numbers and popularity has been reducing as the day passes by and we wish you well as you embark on the mission to restore the popularity of the party in the Ashanti region.
Signed

All Akans, especially, Ashantis should not vote for this discriminatory NDC people! Just look how neglect and discriminating they have shown against our people! The sofoline interchange is not completed after 8years in power, after the work was far advanced under NPP! How could any sane person inflate cost to build so-called international airport in Tamale just for annual Muslim travel, and leave Kumasi which should have been alternative to Accra! People with Akan names are sacked and rejected for job offers, just check those in public officers in Ghana now. So if you are an Akan, just consider how was are being taken for a ride, despite we producing all the national resources!
So you people are not even ashamed criminals thiefs fiafitowo fighting for money greedy criminals
