Communications member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ako Gunn has challenged the leadership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to produce video footages of the clashes in front of the residence of the presidential nominee of the NPP.
Mr Gunn has given the NPP a 48-hour period to produce the footages of NDC members throwing bottles and stones into Nana Addo Dankwa’s house or bury their heads in shame.
There has been counter accusations from both supporters of NDC and NPP on the skirmishes on Sunday during the President’s walk at Nima, Accra.
But speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, the member of the incarcerated Montie trio charged NPP to produce evidence to prove their claim or otherwise.
He said he would be shocked if the party turns round to claim the CCTV camera is not working.
‘We were halted by a ‘machoman’ to stop disturbing the household, so some of our supporters also started replying him angrily, he went inside and fired warning shots, people ran helter-skelter, so the supporters dispersed briefly, the police came to calm tensions down.
As to whether there were stone throwing or defacing of posters or pictures, I didn’t see. We were preventing people from entering that area, NDC protected Nana Addo’s house from any attack. If the NPP do not want to be tagged liars or nation wreckers, they should save their faces by providing the footages indicating that people threw stones. They have CCTV Cameras around the house, so we are giving them 48-hours to produce evidence, for Ghanaians to make their own deductions as to which party is telling lies or not, videos and pictures don’t lie,’ he warned.
He threatened to expose the NPP and Nana Addo of hoarding guns and ammunition if they fail to produce the video footages.

Its all JOHN MAHAMA'S FAULT. THE SUPREME COUT IN ITS INFINITE WISEDOM IMPRISONED THIS AKO GUNN GUY FOR THE WORDS THAT CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH. JOHN MAHAMA HEBAVING LIKE THE KNOW-IT-ALL-KING, RELEASED HIM FROM PRISON AND NOW HE IS NOT ONLY USING HIS MOUTH TO CAUSE MAYHEM, BUT ALSO LEADING PPEOPLE OF HIS KIND TO ASSAULT THE RESIDENCE OF THE MAIN OPPOSTION LEADER.JOHN MAHAMA MUST BE VERY HAPPY OF HOW THBIS GUY HAS YURNED OUT.
If nothing happened why were you protecting the house? You did not see the stone throwing and posters defacing and none of your people were attacking the house. You think everybody is block-headed like you and so you can say anything and let us take it as Gospel Truth? Why don't you ggo ahead and expose NPP and the Flag Bearer for 'hoarding guns as you've said? No matter what you do, the time of this gov't to account for your stewardship is very near, and you must be prepared to account.
PLS U PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE GH PEACE.WE ALL R MAKING NOISE KEKA.GOD HAS SELECTED D PRESIDENT ALREADY........
One day they will meet their meeter. i cant wait for 7th December. one advice for the NDC, you might have the crowd, the chiefs will sing your praise but you dont know what people say behind you when they feel their pockets. My pocket is voting on Dec. 7th and not ur roads and hospitals as u claim. lest i forget, they were my taxes that you used in developing the nation. Change is coming
NDc/NPP leave us in peace. None of you can do anything for us.
This guy earlier said he came to the country to defend the president hence his release from serving a sentence by the supreme court. There he is again to disturb public peace. Now he has the backing of the president but tomorrow is just around the corner. When the tides turn he will surely see his smoothness level.
