The Presiding Bishop of the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare has charge the President-elect Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to introduce sound economic policies to move the nation forward.
According to him, Ghanaians voted for change for an accelerated development thus the new leader has no other excuse than to fulfill his promise.
Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare made the comment while preaching to his congregation on the theme: “Fighting for our common destiny” just two days after the crucial elections.
Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) defeated incumbent President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress with 53.85% of the total votes cast. President Mahama however trailed behind with 44.40% thus truncating his second term bid.
Since his elections, he has received a lot of congratulatory messages from several dignitaries both home and abroad. Also former President Jerry Rawlings in his message charged the President-elect to rid Ghana off corruption.
In support, Bishop Agyin-Asare underscored the need for the NPP leader to fight the canker and make it unattractive in his government.

Eeei,Agyin Asare NDC pastor keep your advice to your self. You just want recognition. God will punish you for your hypocricy
@Ali, its unfortunate people are attacking him but the truth is our pastors should stay true and speak out at all times. Dont be quiet and only speak with it is convenient. God have mercy on us all. No one should attack any man of God but we need exemplary men who speak without fear or favour.
Is this the change we called for? Did we change so we could attack supposed opponents? Already we are insulting an innocent bishop. This is immoral. There was nothing wrong when Nana thanked Otabil. Bempah and Martey for supporting him why do we suddenly have a problem with Bishop Agyinasare because we perceive he's ndc. Assuming he is Ndc so what? If it's not wrong for Otabil and Martey to be Npp why is it wrong for another to be on a different side. ANYWAY. BISHOP AGYINASARE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING LIKE WHAT PEACE FMONLINE IS REPORTING. I WAS IN PEREZ ON SUNDY FOR 1ST AND 2ND SERVICE.
I was in Church on Sunday and heard the preaching of the bishop he didn't say any of the comments been attributed to him. This an attempt to set the Bishop up for attacks but it won't work.
1 district 1 factory, $1m every district, free SHS, 1 village 1 dam. How can I contribute
You better ***barred word***, did you request for better governance earlier? This's an incoming government what he needs now is our prayers we never heard from you when the country's economy was nose diving. Come back same time next year to demand good economy if you don't see any sign of improvement in the country's economy. God bless you.
Guys this is a trap, keep it clean ; NO insults i plead. We will make the same mistake if we open wounds abt what he said. Let it be a passing comment as we keep praying that indeed good policies will come. Dont touch him weda he ahs been silent or not i beg u paddies, let him be. God is the best judge.
Bishop Has a voice now? Bishop Asare, you are right, we certainly will be expecting better policies from the President elect Nana Afufo Addo and I am sure you will be praying for God to grant him wisdom. But was I thinking, were you speaking for the voiceless like this when JDM was in power? When the economic conditions was killing businesses? I am curious for your sudden found new voice? Please correct me if I am wrong
Kwame kumase, is that the best you could write? You need to grow. By the way, Ghana want peace and not insult. God bless our homeland Ghana. Amen
