Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to crack the whip on his appointees.
According to him, Nana Addo should begin to take remedial actions to save Ghana an embarrassment in the future.
Kwesi Pratt was commenting on the issue of plagiarism regarding the President's inaugural speech on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
Although the Acting Director of the Communication team at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin apologized for the public gaffe; Mr. Pratt believes the apology is not enough.
“I am willing as a Ghanaian to accept that apology so that we go forward. I’m willing to forgive so that we can all move forward. But I think it is important to take some remedial action and the apology may not be enough," he stated.
He noted that the accusation that President Akufo-Addo lifted passages from some world leaders without acknowledging them is a major disgrace to the nation.
"The extent to which we have been embarrassed as a people, I think that the President needs to begin to crack the whip . . . If he doesn’t begin from the very beginning, there will be a problem in the future for the President and I hope that the President will take some action in order to assuage the feelings of embarrassment, of betrayal and so on that the Ghanaian people have felt as a result."

kwasiaman...it is ur moda dat will crack whip.
see disgrace and unbearable sense of shame man talking. kwesi pratt nantwi muuuuuuuuuuuuuu
so now its clear to all..that Kwesi Pratt is not going to support President Nana Addo, no matter what he does. Kwesi Pratt will also be on Nana's case all the way. Folks, that is our reality now. For me its a shame that for someone who preaches objectivity and independence in analysis, Kwesi Pratt will come out like this. Its okay - we know where he stands. Since that wikileaks expose i have always known that K. Pratt is not a Nana Addo fan. Kwesi - its a shame. Now people know what you represent. You show different sides when you appear on different programs. Hmm. now we know without a doubt.
Mr Know it all is again at work. Why dont we give one Ministry to this load mouth guy to run so we can ascertain his effectiveness and smoothness level. Talk is cheap. To what level has he elevated "The Insight". Concentrate on your core competence.
He will crack the whip on you, having collected part of Woyomi's money. You wait and see.
Eeeeeei Kwesi ! Anything Nana or NPP will do or say Kwesi Pratt "the known all" will ignorantly complain. Kwesi you are now history so keep mute. Are you Nana Addo's adviser ?
Attacks galore because he didn't support Nana... What a shame. Must everybody support one party... Lets learn to tolerate other people even if they don't sing Our song .......STOP THE HATE
Crack the whip on who when he has surrounded himself with party members, family members and friends. You mean he can sack Allan, Osafo Marfo, and the rest for non-performance, you are joking. He has committed the same error NDC committed. non performing appointees would have to be hosted at the presidency.
SHAME PRATT
Kwesi Pratt.. Skin pain go kill you oo
