Former President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday 30th January 2018 re-registered as a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Bole in the Northern Region.
Mr Mahama who attended a meeting at his local NDC branch at the Bole district assembly seized the opportunity to register.
The National Democratic Congress started a nationwide registration of its members late last year.
The party said its biometric register lacked integrity and credibility and, therefore, cannot be relied upon for any meaningful internal elections.
The party decided, therefore, to throw away the register and start a new process of registering NDC members manually.
