The Communications Manager of the Ghana Gas Company, Ernest Owusu Bempah has kicked against the ranting by Kennedy Agyapong over Anas’s latest investigative piece.
He said the Assin Central MP's concerns and allegations levelled against the ace investigator is not the position of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP].
“Kennedy Agyapong is an independent person and certainly has the right to express himself about any topic of importance, since we still practice democracy. It is not his first time of speaking controversially on a matter of public interest,” he said.
He said the Assin Central MP's views aired certainly cannot be taken as the voice of the ruling political party in Ghana.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, Ernest Owusu Bempah cited that government has not in any form abhorred Anas or his works, the reason behind the call on the office of the CID to investigate Kwesi Nyantakyi.
“I am stating it clear that government communicators including those at the presidency have got nothing against Anas Aremeyaw Anas or his investigative works,” he stressed.
According to him it is Kennedy Agyapong who has issues with Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his methodology, therefore some critics of his [Anas Aremeyaw Anas] exposés should not hide behind him in scoring cheap political points.
He said nobody knows him better than he does because he was his classmate at GIJ.
“None of the pictures showed so far on social media depicts him,” he stated.
“. . His style of investigative journalism is one of the best that professors of the field are now trying to discover. In fact when you go into his style of researching it is gradually becoming a phenomenon that needs to be looked at, since it is the type benefiting society and of public interest,” Owusu Bempah noted.

Ignore Ken Ahyepong. He is not clean. Where did he get all those monies from? The USA government must place him on notice and monitor him very well for drugs and money laundry. Ken is afraid Anas is getting closer to him on his dubious business. All right thinking Ghanaians must rise up and defend Anas by declaring Ken Agyepong a public enemy # 1. We must stop listening to Oman FM, Stop watchinh NET 2 tv. Lets identify all his business concerns and make sure we colapse all his busnesess. It pains me NDC did not do this for us. We in the NPP are not happy with Ken at all. We need someone who can face off with this braggart and cut him to size. I pray that God set his entire wealth on fire one day so he will be humble,
INTERESTING TIMES AHEAD
Just wait for 6th June for the whole video to be shown and you can now tell whether Karbo is a criminal or not. Whether he is the one who collected Vice President Bawumia's share of the bribe, and whether he sent the money or not. If he didnt sent the money, where is the money koraaaa?, whether he built three houses within a short time in office as Deputy Roads Minister - Oyarifa, Wa and Lawra? Whether he possess three V8 Landcruisers with one stationed in Lawra his hometown for family errands. All these within one year in office. Did Karbo accept the deal to negotiate with Vice president Bawumia for the bribe money to be passed through him? Unlike the President did, why didn't Karbo go to report Kwesi Nyantakyi to the CID or President Nana Akufo Addo for defamation of character and attempting to corrupt a public officer?????? The lead anti-corruption crusader against our candidate John Mahama and the NDC in 2016 elections. Karbo where is your morality ti still be in government. Just resign before we hit the streets of Ghana to demand your dismissal. We are waiting to meet him at Peace FM or TV3.
Can you guys contribute intelligibly to the issue on the table?. Don't waste this golden opportunity to be citizens. Point is extortion claims have been leveled against Anas. The least we can do is to keep this at the back of our minds. The police in Ghana e.g are supposed to be law enforcers but they are reported and known to have broken the law and taken bribes etc. Without accusing Anas of any such thing, it is at least food for thought. Ken is also known to have exposed many corruption cases in the past. Woyome easily comes to mind. We should therefore not dismiss what he is saying.
So he wakes up in the morning goes to the media and speak politics and he is been paid by Ghana gas. Doomed country
HE SPEAKS FOR THE NDC.
Owusu Bempah are you now the spokes person for NPP? The die-hard supporters of NPP are quiet. Are you the one to tell us Ken is a lone ranger. In any case have you jilted NDP?
Who does owusu Ben oh speak for?Ghana Gas or NPP... confused boy
