Security at the ongoing ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Delegates Conference at the Koforidua Technical University indeed can't be underrated.
As part of measures to ensure a peaceful delegates conference, Peacefmonline.com checks indicate that the NPP has employed the services of over 3,000 vigilante groups personnel to safeguard the executives, aspiring candidates and all patrons at the conference venue.
According to the head of the group that ensures NPP internal security, Musa Seidu, who spoke to Nana Yaw Kesse on Peace FM, the vigilante groups beefing up security is a mixture of Invisible and Delta Forces drawn from all the ten regions.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Military and National Security are in charge of security at the grounds.
About 6,000 members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has today, Saturday, July 7, 2018, converged on the campus of the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region to elect their national executives as the party hosts its National Delegates Conference.
The National Delegates Conference is being held in pursuant to Article 10 (2) and (3) of the NPP constitution.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) rescheduled the date for its National Delegates Conference since it coincided with this year’s Eid ul-Fitr celebrations which fell on June 15, 2018.

How can a nation with soldiers, navy, police, custom officers, prison officers and air force security apparatus allow political parties to form vigilante groups? We are slowing grinding into a civil war. Our leaders "have lost the keys"..
IF I WERE THE LEADER OF THIS GROUP I WOULD HAVE TURNED THEM INTO A PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD FIRM LIKE THE BLACKWATER IN THE USA
Lazy men, instead of you to go and find something doing, you are calling yourself invincible forces, ***barred word*** men.
Ghana paaaaaaa na gimi! How on earth should Ghana police tell us they have deployed 1000 policemen to take charge of npp conference and at the same time, we have all these so called npp guards too. If they knew they could do the job, why waste our scarce resources going to protect those who have their won security. Nana addo and his npp party are a big joke.
I love these guys! Very professional security guys. Very disciplined and modern style. Not like the NDC hungry hawks who were picked from Nigeria Zongo. Hahahhaha
These guys are as weak as nana addo, barwumia and paa kwesi, may his soul rest in peace. If anyone of them hear a sound of a helicopter coming down, no one of them will stand there. You see them looking built up like this, a lot of them are full of high cholesterol, diabetes, heart conditions and high blood pressure. If anyone looked at paa kwesi, looked stronger than kuffour who is using a walking stick and older, but he is still around. These guys are only hungry bunch.
And soooooooo what?
Who cares about those Hungry Hawks? ndc will stay in opposition for long and stingy ndc can't take care of them ! NPP in opposition formed these groups and most of them including their leaders were invited abroad by NPP members abroad and they were taking good care of, we wait to see if ndc could do that to their so called Hawks, in any case you had Azorka boys who intimidated everyone in Ghana during elections but our boys never did that to the ndc during 2016. 2020 3b3yere s3 3ta ! So was that the reason ndc were crying so loud about the dissolution of the Delta and Invincible forces so you can snatch ballot boxes? haha haha haha! tell your guys they will meet their meter! I'm glad Delta and Invincible forces are still around and kicking ! Anyway, they are disciplined and responsible security forces ,they are not like the ndc thugs.
The mighty Hawks are also there for NDC guard and service
