The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, has asked the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stop causing fear and panic in the on ongoing Ayawaso West Wuguon by-election.
Report making rounds ealier indicated that there was some misunderstanding between the invincible forces and NDC members at Bawaleshie.
According to him, NDC’s Azorka Boys mistook the National Security officials to be invincible forces which erupted into a misunderstanding.
“Stop pointing accusing fingers at the Invincible Forces for causing troubles at Bowleshie because the fight is between the Azorka Boys and National Security but not the Invisible Forces.
Speaking on Okay fm’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, he reiterated that the Azorka Boys mistook the National Security officials who were behind some EC officials for Invincible Forces and started fighting them. In self defense, the National Security retaliated by firing warning shots.
Mr. Awuku asked NDC to stop creating fear and panic. He assured the constituent of peaceful process.
Mr. Awuku called on all workers and electorates to come out in their numbers to cast their vote.
