The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B has warned all political party groups to abide by the new Vigilante Law passed by Parliament.
The vigilante law is to prevent political vigilantism and it takes effect immediately.
Nana B admonished that failure to culprits will face consequences when caught in any act of vigilantism contrary to the new law.
He urged all youth groups within the ruling New Patriotic Party to support President Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision to combat crime in the country.
He asked them to comport themselves and ensure they don't flout the laws because they will be punished severely, thus, "the minimum imprisonment they will face is five years".
Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" programme, Nana B expressed his profound gratitude to the president for keeping his promises to curb crimes by passing the vigilante bill.
