The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Daniel Okyem Aboagye is wondering why the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is demanding for credit over achievements of the ruling administration.
"I don’t know why they want credit; even in parliament they still demand credit. Why do they want credit for the good things and rejecting the bad; they should claim all. If he (Mahama) wants credit, we can maybe give him 5%; but what actually did he do as far as the economy is concerned? he queried.
The Bantama MP who was speaking on UTV asked Ghanaians not to believe any statement coming from the NDC and its flagbearer adding "look at the Free SHS; which millions of children are benefiting from it; he said he will review; Mahama the reviewer general; if we don’t even take care he might scrap it"

Background
The former President John Mahama is reported to have stated that his administration is responsible for the growth of the economy.
According to him, "all that growth, fastest-growing economy in the world, it's the oil sector. They are from the TEN field and the Sankofa field that we worked on in our time. And that made me, in 2016, say that Ghana was going to be the fastest-growing economy in the world and that we are going to grow above eight percent. I predicted it before they (NPP) came into office. And, so, you're seeing growth based on those revenues, you didn’t introduce them, you’re just the beneficiary of the hard work that the previous government did"

IT IS THE NPP WHO ARE THE REVIEWER GENERALS. ALL ROAD PROJECTS INCLUDING THE EASTERN CORRIDOR ARE SUSPENDED TILL NOW BECAUSE OF WHAT REVIEW. A REVIEW WHICH WILL NOT END. THE NPP HAS DONE REVIEW UPON REVIEW BUT HAS COME OUT WITH NOTHING. THEY ONLY PULL THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COUNTRY BACK AND BACK. THEY ARE ONLY ENGAGED IN REBRANDING AND CHANGING NAMES WITHOUT ADDING VALUES. WHAT A CONFUSE PARTY FOR YOU
The mandate for Tsikata was to look for oil and not to plant Cocoa. That is what NDC does money's allocated for specific works are always diverted for unplanned project. So they create loot and share the money.
I am afraid if this free SHS will be continued when the NDC come to power. They have it in mind that they will scrap it if they come to power, but they fear to make it known to Ghanaians because they will loose elections. Seth Tekpeh on NEWSFILE last Saturday said it categorically that the free SHS policy is not sustainable. Uncle Kwaku Baako told him it be sustained looking at monies that go through wrong hands to wrong pockets every year according to auditor generals report. Ghanaians, we should shine our eyes before we say had I know which is the philosophy of a ***barred word***.
I am wondering if all those who have commented so far actually took their time to listen to what the NP said. If reading is a problem, listening too has become a problem in Ghana. Asem nie. Simple logic. If you want credit then be ready to accept some of the blame too. Is it not a fact that when the crude oil was discovered in commercial quantities in Kuffour's time, the NDC rubbished it as palm kennel oil? Oh NDC. They are doing same thing with the Free SHS. Whenever some good news comes out of the Free SHS, the NDC says they started it. Whenever some problem is identified the same NDC comes out beating its chest and saying they predicted that Ghana was not ready for Free SHS. So now where does the NDC stand? Oh noooo NDC!
My ***barred word*** go to OXFORD INSTITUTE OF ENERGY and learn about the history of Ghana's energy and petroleum industry. These npp MPs can learn through their tooth. Ghana has been producing crude as far back as the early 1900s. In 1970 Ghana started drilling at the Saltpond basin in very insignificant quantities until the Jubilee fields were discovered during the era of President Kuffour. These guys no nothing but the carry themselves as if all the knowledge in this world is on their head. When an NPP person is either lying or showing ignorance he does it better than the devil himself. Look at how nana addo and barwumia lie. Nana addo recently was saying the terminal three award was because of his government, huge lie. If someone had not built the terminal three how on earth would you have even had the audacity to claim an award. As far barwumia the least said about him the better. As a teacher, one of my students who is on the free SHS program once asked me, "Sir why does Dr Barwumia lie so much"? I couldn't say anything, I was just stunned, because even elementary and secondary school students have seen the deceit of nana/barwumia government. AMAZING! Mahama lost by close to a million votes. Nana addo will definitely break that lost record with a vote of about 1.5 million defeat.
Another mad npp ***barred word*** being rude, go talk like that to your liar president Akufo Addo
Npp went and look for oil, what a blasphemy against God! The oil had been in the ground for ages. Tsatsa tsikata started exploring and fortunately, it was during kuffour's time that it was clearly known that we have the oil. Mills started the digging, mahama continued and now the weed smoker is messing things.
Village folk, no civilization, full of barbarism.
