Former Minister of Finance Seth Tekper says it is unfair for the current administration to compare its performance and achievements to previous governments.
Mr Tekper was reacting to the Budget presentation in Parliament, where the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Attah compared the success of the current government to that of former President John Evans Atta Mills.
He said the resources at the disposal of the current government puts it in a better position to perform, hence the comparison is needless.

bam on point, am with you Loyd
Mr. Tekper, please, be candid and accept the fact that you under-performed during your time as a Finance Minister and as a party. Everybody makes do with what resources are at his disposal. People will appreciate what you do no matter how little you have and use prudently. You can get all the resources you can think of, but if you can't perform, you will surely not perform.
Since when did Saint Seth T realize that it is needless to compare one administration to the other? If the 'kukru kukru' stops, the 'keke keke' will cease. We shall compare today, tomorrow and the next. The performances of the 'yentie obia' and the 'yebe ye' are clear on the walls respectively.
Haahahaaa
Exactly my thinking, Loyd

Shameful, I hate political parties comparing each others mediocre policies but for you measure the most common sense amongst the two who understand our basic needs, have the burning desire to deal with it, the faith in Ghana that it is possible to have a better life and the persistence to persevere inspite of all the difficulties. The NPP said the same thing when they left office in 2008, claiming they have worked so hard for NDC to enjoy. When you were leaving office, you said you wonder where they will get the money to fulfil the promises they made because there were no money. Thank God for visionary Nana Addo, we have seen a great improvement within just 3 years. from tax cuts, to stable and affordable power, mixed with various initiatives, today we are back on track. we are not there yet but with the commitment NPP have shown, we can clearly see the possibilities. there is a clear better managers of affairs and resources of the country between NDC and NPP and since there is no third force, it is fare to compare. NDC have shown how bankrupt they are with the management of Ghana. I dont wish NPP to stay in office for ever if they are not performing , but I wish NDC will do away with Mahama right after 2020 election and seek to attract visionary people even it means plugging them from where ever in the world to lead the party. they need better leaders to run the affairs of the party and put Ghana first. The current status of NDC is bleak with no new young leader capable of leading the party in 12years. There is no single person either young or old in NDC capable of leading the party with the visionary standard Nana Addo has set. that should be a worry to us.
