It will Interest you to know that imported rice( after paying all the shipping and duties at the port) is still cheaper than our local rice. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a farmer and a huge advocate for consumption of made in Ghana products but the patriotic patience of Ghanaians will quickly run out if our local rice farmers don’t do anything about their pricing. Same as our local chicken and the imported one. Once it’s cheap, it’s the best. It might not be the fault of the farmers when pricing. The unit cost of producing a bag of rice depends on external factors(high interest rates, taxes, fuel costs etc) which is beyond their control. We must do more to support farmers across the country. Competitive pricing and branding are sine qua non to Ghanaians being patriotic but all hope is not lost. Ghana shall prosper. #Idey4u -

What did he say wrong, why the abusive language, please civility must be part of our upbringing
And he wants to represent an elite constituency like Ayawaso Wuogon? Oh explain Economies of Scale to him-Somebody(turning the english construction like the way the young Pastors do.Example"Oh give a clap offering Somebody)

Look at that ***barred word*** guy too. No wonder the party you're in tells it all about you.
That is a big lie. l am an ardent patron of local rice. don't try to politicise every good move towards the development of the economy.
This way making arguements will not move Ghana forward. Just make spevific suggestions rather than talking like most people in realm of baseless theory and you want to go to parliament? Lord have mercy!!
Your name is Solomon and so is your understanding of economic, great! Most of our politicians lack such simple critical assessment and cost benefit analysis of the situation.
