" . . You just started doing this work; some of us have been there longer than you; we understand the work better than you; we have a better understanding of the terrain more than you and so if you don’t want to take advise, it means you are preparing the grounds for what nobody wants," a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo said on Peace FM.
This comment is in reaction to a decision by the Electoral Commission to compile a new voter’s register ahead of the 2020 elections.
If you may recall, the EC announced that it would compile a new register after an Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held in March 2019.
However, the NDC disagreed with this decision insisting there is nothing wrong with the current register.
Fred Agbenyo who was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' queried, "why the need for a new register? Will you allow for this if it was your money being used? Why fix it if it is not broken and why the 'Agyeman attitude'. When did you start this work . . . others have been there before you".

Institution in our dear nation Ghana should work why?, and not to wear human face.
You were there before she came, what difference does it make, before the chief was chosen, there were old men in the family. What are you afraid of, Have forgotten JM raised issues about the inconsistencies in the voter register, Ooh NDC and double standard
So I quite remember the EC cited their reason for limited registration it conducted in 2019 that it would conduct full registration after the District assembly election that it was just for those who would missed the DA election. NDC accused the EC that the limited registration will disenfranchise many qualified voters. The EC stated that there will do full registration before the 2020 General Election so no need to worry. I also remember former President Mahama quoted as saying there was some problems with equipment/hacking during the 2016 election and he is still waiting to be told what it was. Still intriguing why NDC don't see the need to get new equipment and fresh data for the 2020 election.
GOOD ADVISE IF ONLY SHE WOULD LISTEN
