The debate about a new voters' register started when the NPP alleged that the register compiled in 2012 was bloated, that some Togolese had been alllowed to register in the NDC's stronghold, the Volta Region. The NPP wanted a new register. The NDC said the claim was false and opposed it. Today the positions of the two parties have not changed. What has changed is the leadership of the Electoral Commission (EC). If Charlotte Osei and her team had been in office, would the EC have been pushing for a new voters' register? And is the EC really independent of political manipulation?

Mannessah within me I feel strongly Mrs. Osei would have done same. I don't know why I feel so but I have this gut feeling she would have even quickened it to please the NPP. TRUST NO MAN THEY SAY Abi? And even with what has happened to the security capo I posit this: DOUBLY TRUST NOT NO WOMAN. etuo mu ye sum wo ate.
sily people are insulting people who help you very wicked NPP came to power in 2016. Grow up most NPP suporters please.
The answer for this childish question is YEEEESSSSS! It does not matter who the EC leadership is if the register is over due for new so be it. Traditionally all voters registers in Ghana have been used for maximum eight years so check your records. No matter what anyone says we will have an updated credible bio metric voters register for 2020 period. Long live Nana Addo-Bawumia, Long live NPP and supporters, Long live Ghana
