The National Chairman of the People's National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, has questioned the authenticity of a letter being circulated on social media.
Per content of the letter which was allegedly signed by himself and three other people, a group opposing the EC's decision to compile a new voters' register; Inter-Party Resistance Against a New Voters' Register (IPRNA) . . . was requesting for funds from former President John Mahama to enable them organise their demonstrations.
If you may recall the group had threatened to demonstrate countrywide until the Electoral Commission changes its mind.
Bernard Mornah reacting to the purported letter on Peace FM's 6pm News Bulletin, denied being a signatory to that letter and questioned why it was read without further investigations.
"I am sad about how you will pick a story on social media and put it out without any investigation. The signatory is even wrong; so a basic journalist assessment will teach you that that is not how I spell my name. I have not written any letter. In the first place, I will not misspell my name; I have spoken to other alleged signatories and they have denied signing such a letter. I have not written any letter and the letter being circulated does not have the correct spelling of the name . . . no one has authored any letter. It is a very useless letter, characterized by stupidity and we don’t want to glorify it," he intimated.
He further stated that the letter being circulated "it's just a diversion; a fake and concocted story to cover up the mammoth turn out at the recently held 'Yenpene' demonstration in Kumasi

NDC executives and their members behaving like students on university campuses on demonstration. In the final analysis, it is the constitution and the rule of law that will override everything. And the EC will be empowered to do its work accordingly.
Monah has sold his conscience.. Am not even sure if he has one... U have been collecting vehicle from them so what is common letter..
AKAMBA MUST BE WISE TO DO WHAT IS NEEDFUL. THEY MUST GO TO COURT ON THE NEW REGISTER AND STOP WASTING MONEY AND THE TIME, AND LIVES OF GHANAIANS. GHANA IS PRONE TO ACCIDENTS AND IT IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS TO RISKS PEOPLE LIVES FOR NOTHING. IN FACT SOME OF YOU CAN BE CITED FOR INCITING VIOLENCE TO DISTURB THE PUBLIC PEACE FOR THE LAW TO DEAL WITH YOU. NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW. NOBODY HAS MONOPOLY OVER VIOLENCE AND IT IS THEREFORE STUOIDITYY ON YOUR PART TO AGITATE FOR VIOLENCE. DONT BEHAVE LIKE A CHILD WHO CRY AND INSIST ALL THE TIME TO GET WHAT HE WANTS. AS ADULT YOU MUST RELY ON REASON WHICH EVEN IF WELL STATED MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST CONSIDERATION FOR MANY OTHERS. YOUR RESISTANT GROUP IS EXHIBITING TOO MUCH OF IMMATURITYYY IN YOUR OPPOSITION TO NEW REGISTER.
This m0ron has abandoned the PNC and busy organizing demonstrations with the NDC. He attacked the media house in a similar fashion as Joshua Akamba did. Choreographed response by these NDC gurus.
Sit down and channel your energy to organise your party PNC and stop this ***barred word*** demonstrations with NDC.
