A former Member of Parliament (MP) for Mampong in the Ashanti Region, Francis Addai-Nimoh, has appealed to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi to allow him purchase a copy of the 2020 parliamentary primaries nomination forms at the regional Secretariat.
In a letter to the NPP Chiarman, he has been denied access and obstructed to purchase said forms at the constituency office in Mampong.
According to him, the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Lithur Asare, told him that the forms have been sold out even though he has paid his money into the party’s national account.
In view of this, the former lawmaker for the constituency has written a letter to Chairman Wontumi to allow him purchase the forms, as efforts to get a copy has proved futile.
