The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia in 2012 if you may recall dared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to go to court if they were unhappy with the election results at that time.
“any idiot can go to court in a democracy” he was reported to have said.
Fast-forward in 2020, Yaw Adomako Baafi paraphrased General Mosquito's statement while making a submission on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo'.
According to him, "if any idiot can go to court, any stupid person can embark on demonstration". This comment was in reaction to protests by the NDC and other 'smaller' political parties against the EC's decision to compile a new voters register.
