National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is failing to give credit to former President John Mahama for the new Tema Motorway interchange.
Sammy Gyamfi said in a tweet, “[Nana Akufo-Addo] must learn to give credit where credit is due. Enough of the plagiarisation of Mahama projects.”

The tweet by the NDC Communications Officer comes on the back of a comment by the President that the claim by the Mahama administration that it undertook unprecedented infrastructural development, including roads, was just fantasy.
During the commissioning of the $57 million Tema Motorway Interchange project by Akufo-Addo on Friday, June 5, 2020, the President remarked that “the so-called unprecedented infrastructure development of the Mahama administration was fantasy; existing in the Green Book and not on the ground.”
But in a sharp reaction on Twitter, Mr Gyamfi insisted: “The Tema Motorway Interchange remains the brainchild of the Visionary JDM.”
A photo that accompanied Sammy Gyamfi’s tweet suggested that the government of Ghana negotiated the road project in 2015 with the Japanese government.
John Mahama’s four-year administration ended in 2016.

@ Kai Mansah.....I think your submissions makes sense... Thank you......
So now that you have admitted by your own poster that the agreement was signed in March 2017 how can you and your people be going round claiming that Mahama started the project by cutting sod in December 2016 and that he left the money there for the project? How could the project have been started before the signing of the agreement? And how could Mahama have left money for the project at the time that the agreement had not been signed? If the current government did not show interest or intent in the project and never went to negotiate the agreement for signing in March 2017 this project would not have come off at all. The lies of the NDC sometime make them behave as though we the citizens have no brains of our own. There are many projects that Achempong dreamed of and had intentions of undertaking but never was able to do that so today if some else come to do it you would it is Acheampong that has done it? We all know what the major things we need as a country are so if you were in power for 8years and you fail to do what you have to do and all you did was to enrich yourself and your family and Ghanaians say goodbye you it is silly and nauseating for you to be claiming credit for projects that are now being done which you could have done but you failed to do. Am very sure next week NDC will be holding a press conference to tell us that even the Coronaviru pamdemic was started by Mahama so we should give him the credit.
SAMMY GYAMFI,YOU ARE SMALL BOY IN GHANA POLITICS SO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT-WAI.TALK ABOUT JOHN D.MAHAMA,s AIRBUS DEAL,KARPOWER DEAL,your former ministers and their KICKBACKS.YOUR ARE NOBODY SO GO SIT DOWN.
Please, someone should educate me. In NDC handing over notes to NPP was it mentioned by any of the ministries that they gone for grant from Japan. I need an answer.
Baby with sharp teeth..... Your behaviour will help your party to remain in opposition forever. You just continue.
