NPP Parliamentary aspirant for Akim Oda constituency, Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has launched a comprehensive health insurance policy for delegates, their spouses and children in the constituency.
The policy, which he describes as a supplement to the National Health Insurance policy, is aimed at absorbing all medical costs that are not covered by National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
In a brief meeting with delegates, the health entrepreneur noted that this is one of his 5-point vision for the constituency and to motivate the delegates to work harder for the NPP.
Mr. Ras Boateng, a former CEO of the NHIS, who graced the occasion also assured the delegates that this policy is a well-accepted practice in the insurance industry and that it will ensure there is no out of pocket payment as far as subscribers to the scheme are concerned.
He described Mr. Acquah as a very astute young man whose visions and aspirations to life have always been progressive.
