Henry Nana Boakye, NPP National Youth Organizer of the rulig NPP has hailed the Electoral Commission for a successful voter registration exercise.
The registration exercise which commenced on 30th June, 2020 came to an end on Thursday, August 6.
The EC conducted a mop exercise over the weekend to give oppportunity to eligible Ghanaians who couldn't participate in the main exercise to register their names for a voter ID card.
In an aftermath assesement of the exercise, Nana Boakye, popularly called Nana B stated that but for a few challenges and violence recorded at some registration centers across the country, the exercise was very smooth and well conducted.
''To be very fair to the Electoral Commission, they've really done well," he said on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo'.
He also lauded Ghanaians for turning up in their numbers to register their names.
Over 16 million Ghanaians have been compiled into the new voters' register by the Electoral Commission.
