Sammi Awuku, National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has predicted victory for the party ahead of the 2024 elections.
This year's Presidential and Parliamentary elections were a close contest between the ruling NPP and the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NPP Presidential candidate, sitting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared President-elect by the Electoral Commission after defeating the NDC Presidential candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama.
Although the NDC Presidential candidate has refused to accept the election verdict and called for an independent forensic audit of the elections as he claims there was election fraud.
However, President Nana Akufo-Addo has set up his transition team in accordance with the constitution.
Contributing to Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Sammi Awuku strongly believed the NPP's victory in the 2024 elections will be louder than it's achieved this year.
"I can assure you that the NPP that you saw in 2016 and 2020 will also be a stronger and better NPP in 2024, and we look forward that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will hand over to another NPP President-elect in 2025, 7th January. The elephant is not a small animal. Where there is determination and passion and a desire to deliver, we'll achieve it," he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Sammy, not with the current style, if you neglect party foot soldiers and bank your hopes on free SHS, free water and 50% cut in electricity prices to win power, the 2020 election results tells you no. In 2016 NPP party foot soldiers volunteered their own means of transport because the party was not that resourceful and went ahead to win the elections, those who were lucky to get appointments soon forgot who they were in 2016 and started behaving as if they had staged a coup, empty pride, selfishness, arrogance, gross disrespect to anybody who crossed their path was their stock in trade, we kept quiet and watched them display their arrogance, on December 7 we simply reminded them that we are the kingmakers, Am NPP but voted reluctantly for Akuffo Addo, why because he gave so much room to his appointees to misbehave and he nearly paid the price, John Mahama single handedly did much of the talking during the campaign and his performance in this election has won him my respect even though am not an NDC supporter, infact some people outside the NDC believes John was cheated in the elections. Akuffo Addo should blame himself for the poor show in 2020, but for Bawumia he would never have been a president. Any serious minded president will not introduce a deal like 'AGYAPA ' three four months to elections, what do you take Ghanaians for.
You must be joking. In your dreams. The 2020 election is not over yet. If you think you are going to oppress tge people with the security forces then think again. This is just the beginning. All of you will run away soon.
