Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, cousin of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Founder of the Danquah Institute, has sadly lost his father, Dr. Joseph Felix Boateng Otchere-Darko.
The late J.F. Otchere-Darko was the Mmrontuohene of the New Juaben Traditional Area under the stool name, Barima Okyere Boateng 1.
He reportedly passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at age 84.
Mr. Otchere-Darko announced the demise of his father on Tuesday, April 13 via Facebook.
He shared fond memories of the late father who was born on June 8, 1937.

In another development, the Otchere-Darko's have appealed to Ghanaians that in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, well-wishers spare them the usual traditional visits of commiserating with families of the deceased.
