Deputy National Organiser of the opposition NDC, Chief Nixon Biney is challenging lawyer Akoto Ampaw and his group kicking against the passage of the LGBTQ+ Bill into law to come out with the rights issues the Bill seeks to violate.
According to Chief Biney the activities of all those championing this course should be monitored and investigated.
Chief Biney, contributing to UTV’s 'Adekye Nsroma' programme emphatically stated that, “We have to look at the lives of these people . . . we have to monitor their movement".
“All this is an agenda, if you have done communication and have followed deep politics you will know that this is an agenda setting,” he stressed.

The NDC should desist from being blatantly partisan in determining every issue. We live in a global village but not in a vacuum and should be mindful of, and learn from, the experiences other countries have gone through. Therefore, it is only prudent not to rush to make issues; that have no dire threats to our social life. Then, culture is dynamic and is bound to be influenced by our associations with other cultures. Hence, the NDC is better to produce a policy message for the electorates; than trying desperately to make a political, cheap point against the ruling party, NPP. At the expense of informed policies, laws, and social order. Please note that I'm not saying that we should adopt the solutions of the other cultures and countries.
