I wished the legal brains of Ghana would come out here to help me know if Mr. Bagbin, the speaker, could be sacked from his post because he had messed up abysmally with his rerrible demeanor in parliament. In my opinion, it has become abundantly clear that being fluent in a specific language is one thing, and being intellectually competent in a specific field of profession is quite another. Then, for me, Mr. Bagbin, with his many years of experience in parliament, has failed to apply his informed knowledge of the parliamentary proceedings, either out of a lack of integrity or because his self-seeking interests outweigh everything. If either is true, then he does not qualify to occupy that position as the speaker of the Ghanaian parliament.Indeed, I could imply that he would have no qualms accepting a bribe to do what he did.
Electing this Speaker was a mistake by our parliamentarians. The two NPP MPs who voted with the NDC MPs to elect this guy must be smoked out of the NPP party. The NPP party must go all out to smoke those traitors out.

Mr Kwaku Baako, thank you for excellent content analysis which is one of the established methodological approach for carrying out research at doctoral research and beyond. I make the following point: 1) In fact, I expect the academics at political science departments of our universities and other academic commentators to do this work but most of them commented without any serious analysis which is a disservice to Ghana and their own integrity. 2) For Speaker Bagbin, take note of Mr Baako's analysis and come back to set the records straight to clear the mess created. This is very important for your own integrity as number 3 gentleman of this nation. Note that, speakers are beyond partisan politics and those who lead parliament must show absolute integrity. It is also important for parliament - a law making arm/branch of government, in this case, Ghanaian Parliament to redeem itself as the parliament is being systematically tarnished each day in the eyes of Ghanaians, however, it is too late. I hope you will do this in accordance with your oath of office and set the records straight in your service to the nation.
