"I must admit that they had the numbers..." Stephen Amoah popularly called "Sticka" said.
The youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress on Thursday went on a "Yentua" demonstration to protest against the passage of the Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy) introduced by the government.
They were joined by some Civil Society Organisations and Ghanaians who are strongly against the 1.75% levy.
Reacting to the numbers, during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', the Nhyiaeso Member of Parliament asked the ruling NPP to "double their steps"

Hmmmm.... Now people want to be candid with the truth.. It is our stomach direction journalists in this country who think they know all but know next to nothing who are contributing to the woes of the country because they have relegated truth to the side and are just doing the bidding for their paymasters at the expense of the unfortunate Ghanaian who can neither read to understand or research to know. It. Maay start from them when things unfortunately fall apart. Like I always say.. When bot parties steal, they do not bring it to my house so why can we not stop being greedy for once and tell the citizenry the truth. You owe Ghanaians that truth, ***barred word*** stomach direction journalists of mother Ghana. Ghanaians.... Let us wise up and rise beyond the big man talks that does not put food on our tables.
Hahahaaaa, oh so you have steps and you were not doubling them for 5 years now. Like the proverbial vulture, rain has started beating you so you now see the importance of a nest. Don't double your steps, continue to slow down. I thought God gave the elephant such big ears so as to make it hear and listen from far. Unfortunately the current NPP elephant have big ears as usual but it won't listen. At best it will hear but won't listen. Akuffo Addo is making the NPP very unpopular and anyone taking over from him will spend half of his time trying to convince NPP faithful to make sacrifices again. Today, dejection, neglect, disappointment and regret is the lot of the ordinary NPP supporter. Kufuor and his appointees had a skill of moving government and party together such that after 8 years in power the NPP was still popular thus the 49% Akuffo Addo got in the first round of the 2008 elections. The current NPP leadership is just walking and not looking back. By the time they look back, they won't find anybody following them. If current happenings in parliament is not enough a lesson to learn from, then NPP under Akuffo Addo will never learn. NPP is in power but the NDC is dictating the pace. Am NPP but current happenings put John Mahama far above Akuffo Addo. If elections were held today between the 2, no doubt, John Mahama will win hands down. NPP is becoming a pale shadow of itself under Akuffo Addo. Sad, so so sad.
Just cancel free SHS and let Ghanaians pay for the fees. That’s what they want.
