"Anyone who says there's food shortage in this country is a number 1 hypocrite. It is the prices which are high" says social commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs.
Meanwhile, he has urged government to deal with tax waivers.
"The number of tax waivers given to companies can even construct a lot of roads in this country and help in so many ways...government should scrap the tax waivers given to companies" he urged as he contributed to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'

Stop your noise making and am surprise that some of the radio stations give you the chance for talking ***barred word***. Go to the market and do your survey work, check the insufficient food stuffs at the market and have you considered the damage the raining and the flooding has caused our farmers this year.? Most of the farms in the rura areas have been flooded and that has caused damage to properties and human lives. If you have no knowledge about the social background to the current farming situation in Ghana, please dont portray yourself as an illitrate and half baked politician whos panel contributions always confuses his listerners. It will be better for you to engage in conversation with your friend Akufo-Addo about his promise to build in your homw town, cape coast airport. be bold and ask the leadership of Bawumia and Akufo-Addo about the construction of the airport.
