NPP National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B has apologized to Mr. Alan Kyerematen and his team for the unfortunate incident that happened in the Assin North constituency final rally.
A post on Nana B's page on facebook stated that; "Unfortunately, the Vice President arrived at the time Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen was speaking at the rally causing an abrupt interruption in Hon. Kyeremanteng’s address."
"As National Organiser, I take full responsibility for this unfortunate lapse, and in all humility, I apologize unreservedly to Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and his team for this incident," a portion of his post read.

During the final rally, which was held in Assin Breku Methodist Park, to climax our campaign ahead of the Assin North by-election. The Vice President of the Republic, H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had to be ushered onto the dais before the President of the Republic, could take his seat at the rally as protocol demands.
Unfortunately, the Vice President arrived at the time Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen was speaking at the rally causing an abrupt interruption in Hon. Kyerematen’s address.
As National Organiser, I take full responsibility for this unfortunate lapse, and in all humility, I apologize unreservedly to Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and his team for this incident.
I would, however, state unequivocally that the incident was purely as a result of a communication glitch. It was not intentional and could never be a deliberate attempt to spite Hon. Alan Kyeremanteng as speculated in some circles.
Stringent measures will be instituted to avoid a reoccurrence of this unfortunate lapse in the future.
The cohesion and unity of our party is very critical in these times, and I am committed to ensuring that we do everything possible to maintain the harmony and cohesion of our party ahead of the 2024 elections.

Big brother Bawumia will have to call to order those young men close to him. Bawumia has a very bright chance of winning the NPP presidential primaries. However the primaries is not an end in itself. The larger picture is the 2024 elections where every single registered voter in Ghana will be a delegate. Fact is that Allan Kyeremanten equally has a large following and care must be taken not to make them feel there is a delebrate attempt to belittle him. The 2024 elections is going to be closely fought and every single NPP members matters. Bawumia's supporters should remember that in 2008 , Akuffo Addo led with 49% in the first round of the elections. We were told he needed just 5,000 votes to cross the 50% + 1 vote to win but that never was.Looking at the total number of people who voted in that election, 5,000 was a small figure compared to the total number of votes. So if you make people feel marginalized and you crowd them out to win the primaries, if they decide to stay at home in 2024 and not vote NPP may be embarrassed. May this has not occurred to the small boys closer to Bawumia He shouldn't let them cause trouble for him. The other time it was his economic adviser Gedeon Baako who said NPP supporters who are not satisfied with the performance of the Akuffo Addo government can leave the party if they so wish. Question is who knew Gedeon Baako in NPP in 1992,1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012? I believe he was in school in one of these years if not all. People who have worked at all levels to entrench NPP firmly on the ground. today you are asking them to leave? If they leave ,do have same numbers to replace them. Are human beings animals you can walk into the market and buy because you have money? Any child who comes home at a time his father's farm produce have been harvested doesn't know what went on in the farm in his absence. If you have come to meet free food at home, eat but don't disrespect the labourers in your father. Their sweat is what brought the food home. In 2016 Bawumia visited the region where i reside on a campaign tour.In one of our visits to a rural constituency, it rained heavily and the whole road ( no butimen, but a rough road) was completely flooded. It was some of the party's youth who waded into the water to see how deep it was before Bawumia's vehicle was allowed to enter the water. These young men could have been carried away by the floods, as i make this comments the youth are still sitting under trees, not one of them have benefited a pesewa from the party. That day i didn't see any Gedeon Baako in Bawumia's entourage. So if you are chopping free, chop. Remember what ever you have amassed in government can get finished ,but what ever comes out of your money will forever remain. Phd certificate is not necessarily wisdom. So think deeply before you speak, don't speak and now think. You are one of the people that will bring NPP to it's knees.
NPP should forget of breaking the 8. With His Excellency Prez and the Finance minister at the helm of affairs, NPP will loose heavily in 2024.
This is maturity...
