John Kumah, Deputy Minister of Finance, has reportedly passed away at the age of 46.
A source close to the family confirmed the demise of the deputy finance minister, who also served as the Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, according to a news report by Asaaseradio.
Report says the lawmaker was unwell and responding to treatment.
He died in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, in Germany, where he had been receiving medical treatment for some time.
He leaves behind a legacy as a devoted family man, being survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six children.
Notably, Dr. Kumah served as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), where he played a crucial role in positioning NEIP as a key player in Ghana's entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Rather unfortunate . Latest reports say he was scheduled to travel to Germany for further treatment. He was said to be in his home constituency when suddenly his condition deteriorated . On their way to Accra for him to be flown out of the country , he passed on around suhum. So he didn't pass on in Germany . William Shakespeare in in his book Julius Caesar , Caesar is reported to have said " Death is a necessary end and will come when it will come". He passed on at a rather young age at 45. May his soul rest in peace.
Because of how majority of Ghanaians are suffering due to corrupt politicians, I am tempted to party when I hear them also die.. May God have mercy and grant him eternal peace if his hands are clean.
A relatively young man has passed. A dynamic, intelligent, highly educated, a lawyer, phd holder, a member of parliament, a deputy finance minister, do I need to say more? Life is too short indeed. He was fulfilling his dreams and aspirations which he almost did for such an accomplishment at the age of 46. I was happy for him, the way he changed from a vibrant rouble rouser to become a cool, level and inspiring person to the youth. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Less I forget, he was even considered to partner the Npp presidential candidate, the vice president Bawumia.
What a world? Dr. Kumah?? Hmm, God knows best. There's no point in living in this world without making an impact. There's no point in living in this world without fulfilling God's purpose for your life. There's no point in living in this world and causing harm to others and the environment through your actions. There's no point in engaging in dirty politics and corruption at the expense of the nation. May his soul rest well with the Lord!
MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE!
