Highlife legend Daddy Lumba is billed to perform at this years All African Games scheduled for September 4 to 19 at Congo Brazzaville.
The multiple-award winning lyricist will be among other top international artistes who will grace the opening ceremony at the host countrys 60,000-capacity stadium.
Indications are that the countrys Ministry of Youth and Sports is in talks with the musician to concretize the deal.
As to how much will be put on the table by way of honorarium for Lumba, the Ministry is yet to confirm.
Incidentally, Ghanas Black Stars have also received invitation from the competitions hosts to play their Congo Brazzaville counterparts in an official inaugural game.
