Veteran gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong, leader of Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo music group has shared how God healed him after battling sickness for two years.
The musician on Hitz FM’s This Is Gospel show narrating his ordeal told Franky5, host of the show that the sickness started 2012 when he traveled to Accra for a concert.
He added that his sound engineer died few months after his sickness, which put fear in him.
The “Wo How Ne Sen” singer revealed that doctors predicted he will not talk nor walk again after monitoring his sickness for a while but he did not believe their words.
Yaw Sarpong continued “after battling the sickness for some months, it got to a time I couldn’t stand on my feet. So I was taken to Komfo Anokye hospital. They did a CT scan and X-ray but they told me they couldn’t detect the exact problem worrying me so I needed MIR.”
“Because of that they returned me to 37 Military Hospital in Accra. After the MIR test, they told me they have noticed something in my spinal cord so they believe that is the reason I’m not able to talk so I needed surgery.
According to them, they needed to cut my throat and remove my vocal throat. They said after the surgery, I wouldn’t be able to talk nor walk again but that was the best solution for me at that moment.” he said.

No doctor will sound a word of uncertainty to a patient. It is unprofessional and unethical. If you have been operated upon and healed, at least show appreciation. Did you know what actually transpired during OP procedure?
