Many showbiz and movie enthusiasts would anticipate that legendary veteran actor, Mac Jordan Amartey would know award winning Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari.
This is simply because Nadia has starred in over 20 movies, both in Nollywood and Ghallywood and dated Ghana’s most rated football star Michael Essien.
Surprisingly, the ace veteran actor Mac Jordan Amartey who had confirmed that his right leg has been amputated after many years of speculations about his ill-health has revealed that he doesn’t know Nadia Buari; but knows Jackie Appiah and Nana Ama Mcbrown extremely well.
The seasoned actor noted for his tiff with veteran actress Grace Nortey in almost all the movies, made the surprise revelations during a one-on-one intriguing interaction with www.razzonline.com when he was asked who his favourite young Ghanaian actor or actress was.
According to him, John Dumelo, whose name he couldn’t mention properly is a better actor compared to award-winning actor Majid Michel.
Upon persuasion to also reveal his favourite actress, the veteran actor asked Rossy to help him with the names of some of the actresses in order for him to choose one as his favourite.
When Nadia Buari’s name was mentioned alongside Jackie Appiah,Nana Ama Mcbrown etc,Mac Jordan astonishingly asked, “who is that Nadia Buari?”
According to Mac Jordan, when he was acting with Alhaji Sidiku Buari who happens to be Nadia’s Father, Nadia was just a little ‘thing’, so he can’t recollect her now.
The most thrilling part of the interview was when the seasoned actor made a staggering remark about Nana Ama Mcbrown. He said when he was filming for miracle films in Kumasi and selling like hot cake, Nana Ama Mcbrown was just a mere person who was ironing their costumes.
He finally said that he wasn’t sure if Nana Ama Mcbrown is his favourite actress but since Rossy mentioned Nadia Buari’s name he would consider her(Nadia Buari) as his favourite.

I BLAME THE PRESENTER, INFACT THAT MAN DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT, BUT YOU KEEP ON PUSHING HIM TO THE WALL WHY. FORCING HIM TO MENTIONED NAME SO YOU CAN USE IT AS YOUR HEADLINE
some elders are ***barred word***, how can someone you don't know be your favourite?
Kodjo Demenya (Tema; TV Theater); Not Dumelo!!!
Everyone start from bottom to the top, so if mcbrown used to iron your things that is no news to tell.
Thank God you knew Nana Ama as a mere person ironing costume, this is a testimony cos God works in mysterious ways and with time..Nana you are a living testimony, from a mere costume "ironer" to a heroine, waw, this is what God can do...You are blessed Nana Ama.go higher empress 1....to the others Mr.Amartey doesnt know or recognize, dont worry because AWHENE PA NKASA!
Ah this man paaa what the hel is this.leave my star alone NB
When the media is full of dirty and unhealthy politics who will know what? Very soon there will be no authentic and validated history of Ghana. Everyone will interpret and narrate things they way they heard it be it the truth or politically encapsulated. So if Mac was asked about NPP or NDC, he might have answered in the affirmative....This is a shame on a country whose media (both radio and newspapers) spread nothing than politics to destroy one another. Even look at the way the story has been captioned and written ? Full of incitement as if Mac is at war with someone... Please let the media be more educative than divisive...
Why are you asking that question. Must everybody know Nadia Buari or what? Pls let people be themselves. If you have nothing to do but watch films that's your business.
has that man been in Ghana before or has he lost his memory?
