DKB has urged Ghanaians to join the fight against “illegal mining” galamsey carried out at various parts of the country.
Clearly peeved by galamsey activities that poses danger to the environment and livelihood, the popular Ghanaian comedian called on Ghanaians to fight this menace.
The former Big Brother house mate in his Instagram post lambasted authorities for not doing enough to stop illegal mining.
“Why the hell should I explain why it has to stop? Join in let's fight this canker” he angrily said in a post on his Instagram Page.
Perhaps, the standup comedian is fed up with illegal miners destroying the country’s natural water sources and environment which has an eventual effect on the good people of Ghana.

Leave the people to enjoy their land When the whites are digging up our land we call it mining, but when the black land owners join in the digging for gold, we call it illegal mining or galamsey. We then try to stop them by coming up with every excuse imaginable. Please leave the poor guys alone to work and feed their families. Just bring in laws to protect the environment and police it
