Ghanaian soul musician, Sherifa Gunu has sparked controversy indicating that Ghanaian men are attracted to women who are unmarried but have children.
According to her, the majority of men these days are looking for women who have already given birth to one or two children.
She observes that most men of today do not want to be faced with fertility challenges in the future and therefore resort to marrying women who have given birth before.
“Most men of today love to marry women who have a child/ children because they do not want to be faced with fertility challenges in the future”, she revealed on Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review.
She said children are a source of blessing to their parents and the larger society urging women to try and have children at a point in time in their lives.
Reacting to news about Gifty Anti’s pregnancy, Sherifa expressed excitement over the development and pray the renowned TV personality gives birth to twins.

Most single men wil also date born ones to sleep with them and end up saying they cant be with them cos they have kids, and others also think is cos the woman isnt good thats why maybe the baby father didnt marry her, but u are not in the persons shoes to judge and another thing is Ghanaian men who are born ones and twos want to marry women without children but when the woman got a kid and they dont have they begin to complain that they are born ones and thinking worse things about them but later end up with a single lady who took several contraceptives and abortions to destroy her womb and makes their lives worse. if someone is meant to be ur wife or husband u both can give birth to 1000's u wil still end up together
Are you sure madam??? Any stats to back that??? Any proof from the national marriage register??? In any case there's nothing wrong with that cos there're single mothers and fathers who need to reignite their love and find marriage partners. Your expression of joy for Gift Antie is heart-warming but your allusion or comparison of her experience to a particular direction of Ghanaian men, I think is fallacious.
