Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale “can be a very good preacher,” says Evangelist (Dr.) Lawrence Tetteh.
Speaking at the one week memorial service for the late Ebony at the St. Martin De Porres on Sunday, February 18, 2018, he noted that Wale’s aggressive nature makes him a perfect fit.
“Somebody tell Shatta Wale, he can be a very good preacher. He should come and preach with us,”expressed Dr. Tetteh. “I saw Shatta Wale’s aggression in a video and I told my wife this man if God gets hold of him, he will be a good preacher.
Dr. Tetteh is the leader of UK-based World Miracle Outreach. He is said to be the spiritual father of Ebony,
He also spoke about the need for artistes to give their lives to Christ because “nobody will be here in a 100 years’ time.”
He debunked claims that the death of Ebony is as a result of spiritual forces.
Ebony died after she was involved in a gory accident on the Kumasi–Sunyani road on February 8, 2018 when she was returning to Accra from Sunyani.
Her friend, Franky Kuri, and a Military Man, Atsu Vondee, who is said to be her bodyguard on board a Jeep from Sunyani also died in the head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.

he better start now bcos his members have already seen his exit from this world. he was crying like a baby. so this guy dey fear death? mehnnnn we need to live a Godly live on this earth. that is the only way to get over the fear of death because it will surely come. the bible talked about the false prophets coming out at some point. could this be the time? all their prophecies keep on coming to pass. so d guy is scared. sorry man! They know you just like you know them, so u guys can go ahead and continue playing with our heads. the truth shall be reveled one.
What did the man of God say wrong? So do you think shatta is glorifying God with his dancehall?... You people just don't know what's going on... You only attend church on Sundays, that's all.
the problems are with these latter day pastors who think they know it all. if every ghanaian becomes a preacher, who will go to church? who will sell at the market? who will farm for food? who will drive the taxi? it is only in ghana that this crusade of pastor this , pastor that is being perpetrated. this is the problem of ghanaians being judgmental and hypocritical. if you dont attend church A or B then you are condemned to hell. folks these fake pastors dont hold the keys to heaven. Its only God that knows the true heart of man or a woman. these so called pastors are causing fear, spreading terror, causing mayhem and mischief all in the name of boosting their crowd size. if every one finds a day job, this pandemic will not exist. go to the western world with this attitude. you will become homeless because no one will listen to pastor this and pastor that. in the developed countries every one works. that is why countries like Japan or the UK will never ask ghana for loans for development. because people work and pay taxes . Ghanaian pastors are behaving like the pharisees and saducees who claim to know it all. they have lost their simplicity and today a lot of them live in mansions with body guard. this is a direct opposite of how Jesus led his life on earth. The Lord prayed for the poor and sinner. He mingled with the no well to do in society. He taught the gospel as it is with no shinanigans and He prayed for his persecutors. Wake up people. These guys have deceived you for so long for their own selfish interest. the question is why should every celebrity become a pastor?
The good bible talks about everybody and his or her gift. Why does it need to look like if you are not a 'preacher' or 'pastor' or 'reverend' then you are condemned to hell? It is by his grace that we are saved and not by our works. If everybody is a preacher or a pastor, who will be the teacher, the doctor, the bus driver? the market woman? etc.
Do everybody need to be a preacher?
