Ghanaian gospel artiste cum teacher, Vicky Brako says teachers must earn “better” salary than the politicians after calling on government to “hold and respect” the good works of teachers.
This she said will motivate others to take the profession “serious” and also impact knowledge to others.
To her, “Teaching is far better than any other profession. I don’t see why people will abandon the teaching profession for any other thing. I blame all governments for looking down on teachers”

Vicky Brako who has recently released two singles titled ' Jesus by my side' and 'Adom no nti' featuring Selina Boateng said despite her passion for music, she will not stop teaching.
“I can’t abandon my teaching profession for music no matter how much money I make. It’s okay to do both” she said
Vicky Brako is a top notch musician and has impacted so many lives with her songs – she is yet to release her maiden album dubbed 'Aseda Vol 11'.

I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE MS BRAKO. TEACHERS IN GHANA DESERVENOT ONLY BETTER PAY BUT OTHER INCENTIVES AS WELL, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE RURAL AREAS. I HOPE SOMEONE IS LISTENING!
