Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has warned his followers that they should stay away from social media if they want to be successful in life.
The founder of Action Chapel claims social media should be for the old who have nothing better to do in life.
“If you want to accomplish anything in life, go off social media. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat…get out of all these stuff. They are all distractions,” Duncan-Williams said.
“Those things…they are for old people…80 and 90-year-olds who have finished everything they want to do in life that they have nothing to do. Then they stay there and they are chatting…Those of your age, you have no time.” he added. We don’t know whether he’s passing these comments to shade his troublesome son or for other reasons, but they seem somewhat hypocritical considering he has several social media pages himself.
Williams was speaking during the ongoing 2019 International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) held at the National Theatre.
