Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has once again launched an attack against Ghanaian politicians, insinuating that they exploit the voters for their selfish gains.
Following the worrying trend of mass gatherings at the registration centres despite the rapidly-increasing cases of COVID-19, the actress subtly impressed on Ghanaians not to endanger their lives by joining any queues.
According to her, Politicians only see the importance of the electorate when it is time for elections, hence she cautioned Ghanaians not to expect too much in the upcoming election but take care not to put their lives in harm’s way.
In a post on Twitter, she wrote, “Politician: stay home, stay safe ~ people: ok ~ Politician: go out and register ~ people: ok ME: the politician doesn’t care about you, use your common sense, this election won’t change anything in your life, joining crowded queues endangers your life”.
