Footballer David Accam has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the New Life Nungua Children’s Home International in the Greater Accra Region.
The donation, was done on his behalf by some members of his family, and was a special birthday present from the footballer, who turned twenty-something this year, to the facility.
Officials of the facility thanked the Chicago Fire star’s family for the gesture, and promised to put the items to good use.

A useful exercise, it will go a long way to help the facility, which depends on such gestures from the public, to survive.
Accam is a member of Ghana’s national team, and has consistently featured across tournaments.
He has earned a call up for Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Peru and Canada on October 9 and 13 respectively, his MLS side confirmed this week.
