Hearts of Oak are struggling to tie a deal with Sporting Mirren striker Mahatma Otoo according to reports.
The Ghanaian league champions have been a long term admirer of the young striker after an explosive debut season in the top flight with the relegated side. But moves to sign the striker have hit a snag after both parties failed to reach a common ground over his transfer fee.
Hearts perennial rivals Asante Kotoko are believed to be monitoring the situation and could swoop for the 17-year-old. Otoo was voted the discovery of the year by the Premier League Board for his performance last term.
