Asante Kotoko have parted ways with assistant coach Johnson Smith by mutual consent and have duly compensated him for his services to the club, Ghanasoccernet understands.
Smith was released after negotiations to re-instate him as assistant to new coach Paa Kwesi Fabin broke down. He was billed to take over the youth side of the club after coach Fabin decided to opt for Ex-international Yaw Acheampong for the role.
It is not immediately known of his next destination but he could be captured by any of the top flight sides.
