Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he will only loan out fit-again midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong if he plays more games.
The would-be Ghana international returned to action last Monday after a seven month injury lay-off.
Frimpong damaged his cruciate ligaments in February in an English Premier League match while playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
He has been heavily linked with Wolves who are now in the English Championship.
But the Gunners boss does not want to send him out just yet.
"I dont know yet [about letting him go on loan]. He needs to play a few games and he is not ready yet," Wenger said.
"I have heard of their [Wolves] interest but he needs to get back to a competitive edge first before we plan anything for him."
Frimpong's future will be reviewed again when the transfer window re-opens in January.
