Defending champions, Asante Kotoko moved to the top of the league standings after a 3-0 win over Berekum Arsenals at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors dethroned Berekum Chelsea at the summit with four games to go after the latter were handed a 3-0 bashing by Hearts of Oak away in Accra.
Kotoko displayed an improved output on their lousy performance at home in mid-week to wrestle the maximum points at the expense of Arsenals, still haunted by relegation.
After 14 minutes, the visitors were up through midfielder Michael Akuffo who connected Michael Helegbe's corner-kick to stun the home crowd.
Three minutes before half time, Yusif Abdul Aziz doubled the lead before captain Kofi Nti Boakye sealed victory on 78 minutes.
Kotoko has 46 points, same as Chelsea but have the edge on superior goals.
