The epic clash between arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko has always been gigantic and stimulating to watch as a loving fan.
Many have described the Hearts/Kotoko clash as the Ghanas version of Spains El Classico.
Years afore, Ghanaians will be enthused when the most respected glamorous club in the country comes face to face to battle either in a friendly or a league match.
Four times Goal King of the Ghanas premier league, Ishmael Addo of Accra Hearts of Oak, Joe "Afriki" Debrah, arguably one of the best playmakers for Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the likes of Emmanuel Armah, Joe Addo, Frimpong Manso and current Black Stars head coach Akwasi Appiah are expected to thrill soccer fanatics with their prominent skills which one may say is omitted in the both Hearts and Kotoko squared currently.
Ghana Sport Publications Limited (GSPL) as part of its contribution to sports development will give football lovers the opportunity to have a feel of the good old days of football rivalry between ex-players of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on the 26th of May 2013 at exact 3 Oclock (3:00pm).
Players expected to resurrect their flair and dexterity that made them exceptional in their days will exhibit their talent as former Black Stars captain and deputy captain Abedi Ayew and Tony Yeboah respectively will be guest players on the day.
