Ex- Hearts defender Dan Quaye feels saddened by the refusal of the club to re-sign him.
The 32-year-old re-joined his former club after leaving Chinese side Beijing Waxy.
But he was told to look elsewhere as the club decided against re-signing him
Quaye trained with Heart of Lions but the Kpando-based side also refused to offer him a deal.
The experienced rig-back says he is disappointed with the turn of event.
I feel sad because Hearts refused to sign me. I have lots of footballing in me and can play at the top level, Quaye said
I always want to contribute my quota to the success of the club. I am just disappointed that I could not wear the rainbow colours this season.
Quaye is still in the market looking for a new club.
