Former Ghana Football Association chief Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe wants the Black Stars to abandon plans of camping in Europe ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
He is rather advising head coach Kwesi Appiah to pitch camp in Brazil for the entire duration of their preparatory period.
Tamakloe believes it will give the team adequate time to acclimatize with the unfamiliar whether conditions in the South American country.
I think it is important they (Black Stars) acclimatize in the (Brazil) area if we can afford it, Tamakloe is quoted by CampioneSports.net
South America has a different climate than we have in Europe and it is important that before we move to Europe and it is important that before we move in there, the boys definitely should be brought in there to acclimatize themselves to the sort of weather we have there.
Ghana have camped in Europe for their last two World Cup appearances in Germany and South Africa.
They are scheduled to start camping on 25 May at a yet-to-be determined place.
The Black Stars are in Group G alongside USA, Germany and Portugal.
