Ghanaian side Berekum Chelsea say they have sold midfielder Jackson Owusu to a foreign club following his exploits at the ongoing African Nations Championship.
The Brong Ahafo-based club have refused to reveal the identity of the buying club.
Owusu, who suffered a hamstring injury in one of the earlier matches for the Black Stars at the tournament in South Africa, has been one of the revelations of the tournament.
His masterly control of the midfield has attracted a lot of interest from several clubs in South Africa and now club board member Oduro Sarfo says the player is already on his way out of Berekum Chelsea.
I have sold Jackson already to a foreign club and the deal has been signed and sealed, Oduro Sarfo told Asempa FM.
He is likely to be action when Ghana take on Nigeria in the semi-final of the CHAN on Wednesday.
