The Tamale stadium has been labeled as the best in the country ahead of the Black Stars Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea, according to Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara.
The Black Stars will host the Syli Nationale in the Northern regional capital for the first time since the edifice was constructed in 2007.
The team received a rousing welcome from the locals and Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara has been impressed by the facility.
One observation I have made is that Tamale is Ghanas best stadium at the moment Darra said If you look at the facilities at the stadium and how they keep maintaining the structure is very good and everything is in perfect shape.
I learnt they keep cleaning all the seats every week and so everything is very neat.
The score board is working in shape and the pitch is also lush green, I would say they have really looked after the facility very well.
